Klee Allen Welliver, 64, of Hanover, PA died on November 9, 2025 at home following a 5-year battle against renal cancer. Born November 14, 1960 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Dr. Daniel Irvin Welliver and Mary Ada (“Tata”) Starr Twigg Welliver.
Klee graduated from Westminster High School in 1978. His participation in the union sponsored electrician apprenticeship program was pivotal in his life and he had a long career as an electrician with the Local 24 IBEW. He was appreciative of and a staunch supporter of the electricians’ union and the close friends that he had through this organization and his work.
Klee also was an all-around handyman, buying and rehabilitating houses. He enjoyed gardening, attending live music concerts, and helping to organize Westminster Class of 1978 reunions.
He is survived by his devoted partner Kate Fiocco Fisher; two children, Aimee Frankenberger (Eric) of Westminster and Robert Welliver (Kelsey) of Finksburg; brothers Paul Welliver (Powell “Polly”) of Baltimore and Thomas Welliver (Margaret) of Westminster; sister Ellen Nicodemus (John) of Walkersville; and two grandchildren, Caris Frankenberger and Fisher Welliver.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 12 noon to 2 pm followed by a brief Celebration of Life, we will invite anyone who wishes to share a memory or a few words about Klee to do so, at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main Street, Westminster, MD.
Please wear your favorite Hawaiian or tie-dye shirt or dress casually. A reception immediately following the time at Fletcher’s will be held at the home of Tom and Margaret Welliver.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Caring Carroll, Habitat for Humanity, or Carroll County Food Sunday.
