In Memory

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our father James R. Armstrong, Jr., who departed this life on July 16, 2026.
James was a proud United States Army veteran and a dedicated member of Baltimore Electrical Union Local 24, from which he retired after a distinguished career. He found great joy in fishing, spending time outdoors, and pursuing his many interests, including documentary films and online gaming, especially World of Warcraft. A devoted fan of The Incredible Dr. Pol, James was known for his curiosity, sense of humor, and the simple pleasures that brought him happiness. His passing comes as a great loss to all who knew and loved him.
James is survived by his daughters, Stacy Anderson of New Hampshire and Jessica Armstrong of Pasadena, Maryland; his grandchildren, Chris Horner, Evelyn Anderson, and Wyatt Anderson; his great-granddaughters, Morgan and Isla; and his sisters, Susan Corbin, Nora Parris, Bonnie Armstrong, and Trisha Armstrong.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lenora Armstrong and James R. Armstrong, Sr., as well as his siblings, Bill Armstrong and Carolyn Armstrong.
In accordance with his wishes, James was cremated. A private viewing was held on July 18, 2026, at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland.
James will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, loved him, and shared in his life.
Forever loved, forever remembered.
