22nd Annual Family Picnic Is Sunday, August 14

Get your tickets now, for a fun-filled day with your family and your fellow Local 24 members. Our 22nd Annual Family Picnic will be held at Conrad’s Ruth Villa and will feature games and fun activities for all ages and lots of tasty food.

 

Tickets are $10 for members or $25 for member + family.

All requests for tickets must be postmarked no later than Monday, July 25, 2022.

If purchasing tickets in person, at the union hall, tickets must be purchased by July 29, 2022.

 

 

Credit card payment will be accepted for tickets.

 

If you have not received your order form in the mail, or you have other questions, please call the Hall at 410 247-5511.

2018 Family Picnic Photos

Held every August at Conrad’s Ruth Villa, Local 24’s Family Picnic is a beloved tradition. Active and retired members bring their families out for a beautiful day on the water, having fun and renewing friendships.

With carnival games, inflatables, clowns, face painting, horseshoes and corn-hole games, bingo and great food, our 19th annual Family Picnic was a great time for all. Many thanks to all who attended, and especially to the hard-working Picnic Committee volunteers.

2016 Heat Wave Could Not Stop Our 17th Annual Family Picnic!

One of Local 24 I.B.E.W.’s most popular traditions, our annual Family Picnic, was held on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Conrad’s Ruth Villa in Bowleys Quarters, MD.

Our members and retirees and their families braved the heatwave of 2016 to come out and enjoy socializing with each other. All enjoyed fun activities and games and lots of delicious food. There was something for everyone at Local 24’s Family Picnic, held on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Conrad’s Ruth Villa. The event included activities for all, including music, a bingo pavilion, inflatable attractions and games for kids of all ages, arts & crafts, face-painting, and horseshoes, as well as a variety of food and drink.

If you and your family didn’t make it this year, be sure to plan on attending next year. In the meantime, enjoy the photos (below) from this year!
